Teen suicide.

Teen suicide is something that many teens do think about. It's the third leading cause of death for 15 to 24 year olds. Many people think it's a call for attention. Suicide is never something that people will do for attention. Teens are really suffering if they think this is the answer to their problems. It shouldn't be a joke to others either. Death isn't funny at all.


 People are very cognizant of teen suicide but aren't really talking much about it to teens. We need teens to know that suicide is not the answer. I think we should really teach little kids about it since they're starting to grow older in this century. Teens are obviously not okay if they believe suicide is the right path to go down. We need to start letting teens know that they aren't alone even if it seems like they are.

Do something.

Do something for yourself. 

Do something that'll make your future better. 

Do something that'll make someone else's future better. 

Do something for your community. 

Do something that'll make your life easier. 

Do something to make yourself successful. 

Do something that'll explain things clearly to someone. 

Do something that'll mean the world to someone even if it's small. 

Do something adventures. 

Do something that'll make you a better person. 

My feelings.

My feelings are just as important as yours. 

My feelings get hurt too quickly. 

My feelings aren't something you should play with. 

My feelings are very fragile. 

My feelings are something dear to me. 

My feelings get hurt most of the time. 

I put my feelings into the hands of people who will hurt them.  

The people who will hurt my feelings apologize when it's convenient for them. 

Why hurt my feelings just because your feelings are hurt. 

These are my feelings and I will not let them be hurt like this. 

Something cliché

This is going to sound really cliché but friends come and go, but the friends that stay are the ones who might stay forever. Friends are people you share almost everything with. If they're true friends they'll keep things between you and them. Friends are people who you'll consider family at some point. They're family will be your family at some point. You'll depend on them a lot.

I don't have a whole lot of friends, but the friends I do have are the ones I hope will stay with me through high school and longer. They're always there for me when I need it. They always make me feel so much better when I'm not in the best mood. They sometime have solutions to my problems and I'll have solutions for them too. I do consider my group of friends a whole family. They act like brothers/& or sisters and I'm so graceful for them.

School of fear.

School of fear is about 4 kids trying to get over their fears. Madeleine Materson is deathly afraid of insects. Theodore bartholomew is pretrified of death. Lulu is scared of confined spaces. And garrison feldman is terrified of deep water. These 4 fragile kids are spending their summer at the school of fear. You aren't supposed to know about the school of fear but now these kids do and they're in for more than they think.

I think this book was pretty good. I thought it would've been more creepy and gave me more excitement but it's just plain to me. I don't really recommend it to certain people. But if you want to read it then go ahead. This book is a series so if you're interested in series you might like the book because the ending doesn't explain anything. 

Concerts

I've been to almost ten concerts in the past 2-3 years. And let me tell you, they are the best places to be. I always feel welcomed and like myself when I go to one. Everyone around you is just as excited as you are and it's amazing. Almost every concert I've been to I've met so many people and made so many friends.

The first concert I've been to is this festival called Warped tour, it was probably my favorite concert because it was an amazing experience and I seen my favorite band for the first time. Warped tour has multiple bands and isn't just focusing on one. I was very apprehensive about going because there was more than 1,000 people in the crowd I was in. I was literally being squished but it was very worth it in the end. But warped tour was one of the best concerts I've been to so far.

"Like a girl"

The worst stereotype I see affecting our world and one I acknowledge a lot is people telling girls they can't do certain things because they're girls, or making girls feel less valued. The phrase "like a girl" affects our society because it is making us girls feel like we aren't good enough for anything, it's degrading us and making us feel like everything we do is just wrong. It's horrible that guys can't be mature enough and have to bring girls down cause they think it's funny. It's not hilarious that you in order for you to laugh you have to disrespect a girl. "Men" are always disrespecting women and I can't stand it.

Now I don't want to say all men disrespect women but some of them do. To be precise, I know a lot of guys at my school do disrespect girls and they just laugh. They tell girls things that we never wanna hear. And yes some may apologize which I'm thankful for. But I of course still get mad they said something in the first place.

These are our misadventures

Misadventures is an album written by my favorite band named Pierce The Veil. It's not my favorite album but it's an album I want to talk about now since it's their most recent one. They are a pretty heavy band but could also be really smooth. This album has had a lot of effort put into it and it made me very apprehensive because I waited so long and hoped it was amazing. Misadventures came out May 13th 2016.

The songs on the album are Dive in, Texas is forever, The divine zero, floral and fading, Phantom power and Ludicrous speed, circles, today I saw the whole world, gold medal ribbon, bedless, sambuka, and Song for Isabelle. My favorite song off this record has to be Bedless. It's honestly such an inspiring song to me. The song is about a break he had. The lead singer (Vic) was in a relationship that was boring. He admitted that they had good times but it just didn't work. Misadventures to me was just an overall really good album.

The future of us.

The future of use was an overall good book in my opinion. I thought it was pretty cool too, it showed a lot of things from the past and it made me feel like I was actually there since they described it so well.  The ending is something I would like to change because it was so plain.  I really thought I wasn't going to like the book because the beginning wasn't something I expected.  But I did really like the book and how it showed how futuristic things can be.

The future of us was about two teenagers in high school finding out the innovative new website called Facebook. The book is set in 1996 I believe and one of the main characters Emma Nelson was given a CD rom from the other main character Josh Templeton and this new website appeares called "Facebook", it hasn't been invented yet. They look onto their accounts and every time they refresh something in their future changes. Emma has a horrible future according to her page and she tries so hard to change it but later in the book josh helps her realize no matter what you do you can't change the future.

Life is beautiful

The things we learned about the holocaust are similar to the movie because it taught us a little bit of stuff we recently went over. We went over how they took people on a train to camps where they were told to do hard work, and that also was in the movie. In the movie they also showed us how they would tell them they were gonna take a shower but really would kill them, and we did learn about that. But they were also different because in the movie because it didn't necessarily show them taking just Jews like we originally learned. They also were different because they weren't necessarily as strict in the movie as they were doing the actual holocaust.


 I know the mood of the movie wasn't the same as what I've read because it did change my mood, the movie made me laugh because it was meant to be comedic. And what I've read so far has made me feel sad and mad about things happening. It has never made me laugh because the holocaust wasn't something that was supposed to be comedic at all. And I hope people are cognizant about the holocaust so they don't act childish when they learn about this. Life is shown as beautiful through out the movie because Gueival is always positive through out the whole movie.

He always makes everyone's day especially his son because you can see in the movie he does care. He also makes Dora happy wherever they were together. Gueival made everyone happy when he was around them. He may have mad one person unhappy but almost everybody was happy when they were with him. But it was also beautiful because at the end the little boy was still happy and you would think he would sad since his father had just died but he was full of joy to see his mother and I think that was very beautiful.

Girl stolen

I had just recently finished this book and it has to be the best book i've read this year. I don't really like reading books, and I don't really finish them often, but this book was so good not to finish. All the cliff hangers it leaves always had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happpened. The only thing I didn't like about this book was that the ending wasn't that great, I wish it explained more on how the investigation went when they finally found her, or gave more detail on more of the characters after she was found. But they just let it be, ending it with her being safe which is something  I would change about the book. But overall it was a great book and I love this author a lot.

Propaganda

The worst argument I've had.

The worst argument I've ever had was when I tried convincing my mom to let me go to a concert with my best friend. So me and my best friend wanted to try something innovative  , since we never really go to concerts we thought our first one would be amazing. So we asked my mom if I can go and her simple answer was she'll think about it. Now since I was younger at the time I was very mad cause I wanted a clear thought out answer. So I told her no I wanted a clear answer and I guess that got her mad so she yelled at me and I yelled. But really at the end of the day she let me go which was amazing.

Nonfiction book blog

My book was Simeon's story which is about the kidnapping and murder of emmet till. The beginning talks about how Simeon bet emmet and how they visited each other and got along. The next couple pages after that tells about how his wife pushed him to write this story about what he witnessed when he was younger. But the first chapter starts off with his life before he met Emmett. But a little bit into it he talks about how well he and emmet had gotten along so well, and how he looked at him as a brother. He talks about his family and he talks about the last minutes he recalled talking to emmet, he even talked about how heartbreaking it was when the people who murdered emmet were not found guilty.

I thought this book was very interesting and I love how it's structure is to focus on Simeon's life letting us know a little about him. The thing about this book is that I've never thought they made a whole book about the emmet till murder case. I have learned about the case but never had full detail, so I'm very glad I had picked this book. Even if I did learn a bit this book has given me so much more information.

The person I would choose is Tyler Joseph from Twenty one pilots. The reason I chose Tyler is because he does mean a lot to me. The lyrics to his songs are amazing and so well thought of. His lyrics have an impact on a lot of people including me. They are so meaningful and he writes them from the heart. The questions I would probably ask him are, How much do your fans mean to you? What instrument did you learn how to play first? Do you wish to be more famous than you already are? Do you ever feel Apprehensive about preforming? I think something i would want to do with him is go to disneyland or six flags. Or even just somewhere to eat. Or maybe even just a peaceful park because I know that I would want to have a meaningful talk with him. I know that when if I ever did meet him I would cry cause like I said he really does mean a lot to me.

Regret

I don't wanna say I regret anything because if I did I wouldn't have learned from it. If I didn't learn from it then I would seem childish. Even if I did something that was inadequate I still wouldn't regret because I would learn from the mistake.

Wherever Nina lies

Wherever Nina lies is such a phenomenal  book to me. The whole background to the story is something so unique and different. I recommend this book to anyone who's into mystery. It's start with a teenage girl, with a pretty boring and sad life. She misses her sister who vanished 2 years ago. And when she starts finding clues all of a sudden she digs dipper and dipper. And she does get caught in some trouble along the way. And if you want to know what happens I truly do suggest you read your book.

The book is about a girl named Ellie who has hope that she could find her sister that disappeared over 2 years ago. When she finds a clue, she believes that they're are many more clues left. So she takes off with a guy named Sean that she just met to Nebraska. So has many ups and downs during her trip. And she soon finds out this Sean guy isn't all what he says to be. But I would recommend this book if you really wanna find out, Does Ellie find her sister? And what happens with Sean?

Most impactful super bowl commercial

The most impactful super bowl commercial is the Honda one with all these famous stars telling you to keep moving forward with your dreams. I think it helps a lot cause it's helping young children and even young adults that you should keep moving forward with anything, it's also showing that it's okay to have bumps in the road but to keep pushing. Yes the commercial is for a car but I think it was also towards people and I think it was very inspiring.

Advice to Trump

Dear Mr Trump,

I'd like to give you some advice, well maybe taking advice from a 13 year old sounds pretty dumb but I would say I have better thinking than you. I recently heard you weren't letting certain races come back to America. I see that as completely selfish because if you think about it, isn't your wife and one of your children an immigrant? I may be wrong, but do you plan on deporting your wife and children? I really don't think you would, so put yourself in the shoes of the people you've been hurting and realize what you're doing wrong. Instead of thinking everyone is wrong, have some empathy. Put yourself in their shoes. You're not giving those who want to come here, a chance to live a better life. If you want to make America great again, try making it happier and more open to those who are hurting. Don't make it even worse for them. Of course, do a back up check to know who you're allowing here. Always remember that just because they're coming from a terrible place that's falling apart, doesn't mean that they, themselves are horrible people.

Fake it till you become it

Something I think i'm reallly good at is singing which I'm really passionate about. I've been singing since I was speaking full sentence. I just know that I love singing and that its a big aspect in my life. But something that I need more confidence in is Math, I always feel as if im the dumber one in the class cause I don't know so much, Or I don't understand as well as the other. In conclusion I think I'm pretty good at singing and I think im decent at math.

Most thoughtful thing i did over break

The most thoughtful thing i did this winter break was that me and my sister pitched in lots of money for my brother, so my brother didn't technically get anything for christmas because my grandma didn't get his gift cards yet so me and my sister pitched in almost all our money for him because we both hate seeing him sad. And after we surprised him with the money he got super happy which made me so happy.
